Webmaster
We use Elementor with Hello theme. We’re looking for people to help with any new projects/additions for the website. We do not need maintenance, that is covered by our Webmaster.
Zoho Assistant
We’re looking for someone with experience in Zoho One. We use Campaigns, CRM, Desk, Integrations between them, Flow and workflows.
Board Members
Board members should be passionate about mental health, and either know Avoidant Personality, or be willing to learn about it. Board members must participate in meetings, and provide direction for APRC and our Executive Director Phillip Dacus.
This position can be part time. Board members can live anywhere in the world as long as they are available to use Slack, Zoom, and attend virtual and if possible in-person Meetings.
Anyone will be considered, but professionals like therapists, and counselors are encouraged to apply.
Virtual Assistant
Right now we currently have one but looking for another. The best candidate will be someone who will provide both volunteer and paid work like our current Virtual Assistant.
The ideal for this position is to be volunteer, but we will consider paid as long as it is low. We don’t get any donations or funding right now, so we have a restricted budget. We need someone that cares about mental health and has experience with it. This person should care about people and look at this as more than just a paycheck.
The position will be varied and including;
- Email, Tickets, and Social Media Customer Support
- Social Media post creation and scheduling
- Assisting our Marketing Lead Person
- Assisting our Lead Virtual Assistant
Grant Researcher and Writer
Right now, we do not receive any grant funding. We need someone with experience who can find grant opportunities and then write and submit grant proposals for us.
LMS Creation
We need someone experienced with learning management systems to set up this for us in the backend of WordPress. We may choose LearnDash.
Academy Manager
We are going to be opening our online classes academy soon. The academy will offer classes on Avoidant Personality (AVP). AVP includes Severe social anxiety, Major Depression and a host of other conditions.
We need a manager to take care of the students, answer questions, and make sure the school runs smoothly. The school is not up and running yet, so we do not know how many students to expect to enroll.
Course Instructors
We need course instructors with experience with online classes. We’re looking for instructors to teach the classes that will be in our learning management system (LMS). These classes will be about Avoidant Personality and its symptoms. We will provide the content to instruct and need someone to teach it on video.
Support Team for Mental Health
We have people who contact us from all over the world in need of support. People with Avoidant Personality (AVP) are one group. The other group is “Loved Ones.” A “loved one” is a person in a relationship with someone who has AVP.
We need good, caring people who can support one or both of these groups. Preferred are people who have personal experience with mental health. Experience or training as a clinician is not required.
Podcast Co-Host and Guests
Phillip (our Executive Director) hosts a podcast called Avoiding Life. Phillip needs a co-host as well as guests.
The co-host should have mental health experience either personally or professionally. Personal experience would be ideal. The co-host would be interacting on air with the host (Phillip) talking about Avoidant Personality (AVP) and other mental health issues. Experience with AVP would be ideal, but is not required.
Guests should have some mental health experience personally or professionally. Guests could cover other subjects as well such as life experience, benefits of healthy eating, exercise, etc. If you feel you have mental health topics to share with others, we want to talk to you.
AVP Area Managers (Future Project)
We want to take this nonprofit nationwide and then global! We are looking for managers in every US state and then eventually expand into the rest of the world. Area Managers should be passionate about mental health and helping people.
The Area Manager will need to create their own web site, (or we can look into creating a franchise similar to this main one), organize the nonprofit in their area, create events, and find volunteers for their area.
Event Coordinator for Idaho (Future Project)
We are looking for a self-starter to devise and execute fresh, imaginative events that inspire and excite. We need someone to organize and manage events in the Boise, Idaho area, and then branch out into the rest of Idaho. The events will be fundraisers with the additional goal of raising awareness for Avp and Loved Ones. We want our events to be exceptional and successful.
Video and Commercials Creator
Our mission is to educate about Avoidant Personality and Loved Ones who are in a relationship with someone who has, or is suspected to have AVP.
If you have a passion for mental health and would be willing to conceive, write, edit, coordinate, shoot and edit spots for us.
We need someone to create videos about AVP and Loved Ones. The videos will be on our website.
Future Project – Additionally, we are looking for commercial quality videos that will be on TV as public service announcements. These videos will also be about AVP as well as Loved Ones.
